1/52: Playing Catch-Up

Ok, it has been a long time since I have done anything on here, but my goal this year is to do a post a week for the whole year. so here is the last two years in fast forward.

At the very beginning of the 2012 year, we found out we were expecting another little miracle! Our Bundle was due to come to us on October 21st. At 20 weeks, we found out we were having a baby girl, and we couldn't have been more thrilled!

38 Weeks

Their were many times that we didn't think we would make it here, but we did! 38 Weeks! We got her to full term! She was extremely anxious to come into this world, and I fought pre-term labor for 11 weeks.

The Boys, all excited for their Falcon's Game!!!

We spent the afternoon as a family fishing at the river. We all had a blast!

In August our sweet little boy turned two! I can't believe how fast time flies! He is such a blessing in our lives!

Their is nothing more rewarding in life, then to see the look of pure JOY on the face of a child!

The birthday boy!

The time FINALLY came to welcome our little girl into the world. I had became pre-eclampsic.....again, so i was induced..... again. We went to the hospital at 6:00 am October 11th to get things started. It took until 4:00 that afternoon to get my contractions going.

11 hours later, at 3:09 am, our beautiful baby girl was born! We named her Chloe Zeta, which means Blooming Rose. She was 7 pounds one ounce, and 19 inches long, and she was absolutely gorgeous!

Brocky came to meat his brand new little sister, and......

...he was scared of her! Absolutely terrified! But he quickly fell head over heals in love with her!

After spending 4 days in the hospital, (we had to stay extra time because I was strep B positive) we were finally able to go home!

Sweet little Brocky had been staying with Grandma and Grandpa Black, but they left on a trip early that morning, so they brought him to the hospital to help us bring the baby home. Before Dr. Jones came to release us, he fell asleep in the hospital bed.

And we are finally home. Daddy was enjoying cuddling with his little panda! (He dressed her himself.)

Chloe's first bath at home!

When Chloe was 2 1/2 weeks old, we had Wendy do family pictures for us. They turned awesome, as always!

On December 16th, Chloe was given a blessing by my Dad. She wore the same dress that I was blessed in 22 years prior. She looked absolutely beautiful. I was able to get some gorgeous pictures of her afterwards!

Brock's sticker-mania! He got ahold of stickers and pipe cleaners and made himself a masterpiece!

Brocky in his "smart guy" glasses

And in April, we had Wendy do pictures for us again! Her flowers were absolutely beautiful accents, and baby Chloe had a blast with her tulips!

In August, just a few day's after Brock turned we we had one of our hardest day's yet as parents...... We took our little boy to his first day of school, and he loved it! In just four months of school, he has gone from a little boy who hardly talked, and what he did say you couldn't understand, to  fluent, understandable sentences! It has been an amazing transformation to watch. I love to see his joy of learning!

And on October 12th 2013, our little princess turned one, and we had our first princess party! She was so darn cute! She absolutely loves the cabbage patch that mommy and daddy gave her, and her princess chair that big brother gave her!

So their is a "quick" summary of our last two years! It has been a roller coaster ride, but we have enjoyed every minute of it!
